Winning Combo: Skechers Teams Up With LPGA Pro Brooke Henderson and PGA TOUR Superstore

I’m a fan of both Skechers and LPGA Pro Brooke Henderson, so when they asked for my help in getting the word out about an opportunity for junior golfers, I jumped on it.

Through Friday, April 30th, aspiring 13-18 year olds can enter to win a virtual training session and meet-and-greet with LPGA Pro and Skechers Elite golfer Brooke Henderson, as well as $2,500 to use towards future golf school/training and six months’ worth of Skechers footwear to keep them comfortable on and off the course.  Additionally, two lucky junior players will each receive $500 to use towards future golf training/school and three months’ worth of Skechers footwear.

Interested teens (13-18-years old) in the USA* must submit either a 1-2 minute video or 500-1,000 word essay to golf@skechers.com with the subject “Skechers Meet Our Elite Contest Entry”.  All entries should explain why they want to play like an elite golfer and how they carry that elite mindset off the course and apply it to their everyday lives.  Potential entrants are encouraged to visit www.skechers.com/m/meet-elite for official contest rules and additional contest information.

The contest topic is inspired by Henderson who is an icon for many on and off the course. Only 23-years-old and already Canada’s winningest golfer, Brooke is always looking to pay it forward by helping young golfers.

“After a year like 2020, I was eager to do my part to help young golfers make their way back onto the course,” said Brooke Henderson.  “Through the Skechers Meet our Elite contest, I’m able to share the tips I’ve picked up during my seven years on the LPGA to help these athletes get excited about the game and reach their potential both on and off the course.”

With Skechers GO GOLF footwear everyone can be elite. Enjoy comfort and performance on the course in Skechers GO GOLF Elite 3 Twist, as worn by Henderson, and Skechers GO GOLF Elite 4 Victory for men.

*US residents, ages 13-18 who are not professional golfers, members of a national golf team, or members of a collegiate golf team. No golf experience necessary. Please see official rules for further details.
