DEALS and STEAL$: 6 Fourth of July Sales You Don’t Want to Miss

Now that golf season is in high gear and we are approaching another holiday weekend, I’m inundated with emails promoting sales and close-outs from the many leading brands and platforms I follow.  I thought I’d share some of my good “finds”.  I have no incentive to write about any of these except to try to help you all find some great things you might need (or just want).   

Here are this week’s finds…

Golfino

Have you heard about GOLFINO?  It’s a high-end high-quality line headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.  In 1986, Dr. Bernd Kirsten and Christel Kirsten founded GOLFINO.  In March 2020 GOLFINO was acquired by the private equity firm ENDLESS LLP.  The British company also owns Europe’s largest golf retailer American Golf.  With this strong partner at its side Golfino’s design continues to stand for a combination of stylish elegance and sportiness.

In all honesty, I’m not a huge fan of big box stores, too much low quality apparel finds its way to their sales racks, but they definitely have a place.  Sometimes you can find some great deals because they are dealing in mass quantities.  In any event, check out PGA Superstore.  This weekend they have 25% off clearance apparel.  Since they are big box, they have started carrying many of the brands that used to only be available in pro shops.  Some of the lines on sale are J.Lindberg, RLX, Golftini, Tail, Adidas and Daily Sports just to name a few.  This latter  inventory will only be available in limited sizes and will move fast so don’t wait.

TGW.com – The Golf Warehouse.  

This is a great site for miscellaneous items.  Almost daily they have a sale on, well, everything.  You can find things from push carts, to bags, golf shoes, apparel and accessories like golf gloves.  This week they have reduced prices on over 350 items and you can usually score free shipping with purchase over $100.  

UnderArmour.com

You know they make great workout clothing but have you tried their golf clothing, shoes or accessories?  This is a great site (or download the app) for everything athletic, which includes golf.  I like UA because of its durability and performance.   Right now they are offering an extra 40% off outlet orders.

Tail

Tail has been around forever, as in about 45 years.  Their lines offer dependable sizing, while still being fashionable and technical.  Tail is now offering an extra 20% all sale styles — use code STARS.  They are also offering 30% off their Unbridled Styles which is their athleisure line.

Nancy Lopez

Nancy Lopez exploded onto the LPGA Tour in 1977, and since has become one of the most famous and recognizable women in golf.  Her namesake brand is now holding a 4th of July sale with free shipping on orders of $75 or more.
